My "Jon and Kate Plus 8" moment

So I'm in Walmart last week...ALONE...WITHOUT kids!! having some "me" time and TWO "count them" TWO separate families come up to me and asked, "how are your kids?" and my first reaction was, "do I know you?" They were strangers. They said they enjoy seeing me and my kids around the "neighborhood" because we always look like we have such fun and my kids are so beautiful and well behaved. I was happy to report that my kids were at home with auntie and that I was out by myself!! : ) I do believe my kids are beautiful. I am prejudice. I get embrassed, sometimes, though. Today in Walmart, two separate families came up and said how beautiful Sierra is. It's hard to know what to say, I mean, I didn't biologically create her, but I DO think she's beautiful and I love her as if I had her myself. I literally felt like I was on a reality TV series and there were paparazzi following me around and that's how everyone knew me and why everyone was coming up to me. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I guess I have to watch my behavior more in public now. I can't hit Rick anymore like usually do!! ONLY JOKING!!!! Hope everyone is doing well...

THE WAIT IS OVER!

Well...it finally happened!! 3 months ago, we received the call we've been waiting for! The adoption agency called us and told us there was a one day old baby girl available for adoption! We went to Oakwood hospital in Dearborn and picked her up a few days later and she has been with us ever since. She is our beautiful princess! We love her so much. Her name is Sierra Grace. She is the new light of our lives and we wouldn't trade her for anything. The doctor says she is very healthy, active, and alert. All looks well for our growing family. We are looking forward to the future! We will keep you updated!
